Who we are
A family business built on steel since 1988
M&D Mobile & General Engineering Ltd is a family-run, Irish-owned company established in 1988, trading originally from Main Street, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow.
Through years of hard work, innovation, and a commitment to supplying quality products at competitive prices to an ever-growing list of clients, the company outgrew its original premises, so we designed and built a new site, four times larger, on Charvey Lane, Rathnew, to serve our loyal returning clients and future projects of any scale.
We are EN1090 certified, meaning we can CE Mark our products, including structural steel, balconies and balustrades, with every certified item accompanied by a Declaration of Performance to satisfy your engineer or architect's compliance requirements.
